Order Restored in Iranian Cities, Says Official

The Iranian authorities have fully restored order in the cities following recent protests and unrest in the Islamic Republic, announced Ahmad Reza Radan, the commander of Iran's security forces.

"Thanks to our citizens' decisive participation as well as the actions of the armed forces, security agencies, and law enforcement, security and order have been fully restored in the country's cities," Radan stated, according to Iran's state IRIB television.

He also noted that law enforcement agencies will continue their work until all individuals involved in the recent unrest and riots in Iran are thoroughly identified and arrested.

It is worth recalling that protests in Iran began in late December 2025, initially due to the devaluation of the national currency, but later transformed into riots and demonstrations against the government.
