Armenia's Position Remains Unchanged: Ruben Rubinyan
Our position has not changed. The process of normalizing relations between Armenia and Turkey, and the Armenia-Azerbaijan process are different processes; however, since they are in the same region, they may influence each other.
This was stated by the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Ruben Rubinyan, during a briefing with journalists in the National Assembly, addressing the fact that Turkey continues to link the Armenian-Turkish process with the Armenian-Azerbaijani one.
According to him, Armenia believes that progress in the Armenia-Turkey normalization process will not only not harm the Armenia-Azerbaijan process, but may also contribute to it and provide a new impetus.
Rubinyan also noted that it is impossible to overlook the progress recorded in the Armenia-Azerbaijan process, mentioning the peace declaration of August 8, the partial unblocking of the railway, and other steps.
In the view of the Deputy Speaker, all processes are generally developing positively, and there are already some results, as well as expectations for new results.
