Peskov stated that he does not confirm that Russia agrees to the deployment of peacekeeping forces in Ukraine involving troops from China and Southern countries. He added, “The Kremlin expects that the new visit of Vitkov and Kushner to Russia will take place as soon as the dates are agreed upon. The situation in Kyiv is getting worse every day, and the decision-making corridor is narrowing. It is time for Zelensky to take responsibility for making decisions that contribute to peace, but he is not doing that.”

“Russia has not received a response from the US regarding Putin's initiative to extend the 'New START' treaty, but is expecting one. A more favorable 'New START' treaty will be necessary for everyone, but its development is a complex and lengthy process,” he said.
