Expect Snow and Blizzard Conditions: Temperature in Armenia to Decrease by 10-13 Degrees
In Yerevan, on January 12 during the day, as well as on January 14, clear weather is expected. On January 13, during the day, a mix of snow and rain is anticipated, with snow expected in the evening hours and into the early morning of January 14.
Throughout the Republic, clear weather is also forecasted for January 12 and on the 16th and 17th. However, on January 13, during the night, in some areas, and in the afternoon transitioning into evening, significant precipitation is expected in most regions, including rain and mixed precipitation in pre-mountainous and valley areas. By the evening of January 13, snow is anticipated across the entire republic.
From January 13 to 14, considerable snowfall is expected in separate areas, and blizzard conditions with low visibility are likely in certain mountainous locations. Winds will be coming from the southwest at 2-5 m/s, but on January 12, in some locations, gusts may strengthen to 18-22 m/s, and on January 13-14, wind speeds are expected to reach 15-18 m/s.
The air temperature is gradually expected to drop by 10-13 degrees between January 14 and 16.
