Political prisoner Narek Samsonyan, who announced a hunger strike, has been transferred to a punishment cell due to the lack of an alternative cell designated for conducting hunger strikes within the penitentiary. This was reported by lawyer Ruben Melikyan.

It is noteworthy that Narek Samsonyan and Vazgen Saghatelyan, the authors of the "Imnmenim" podcast, were arrested following a report submitted by the President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonian. Their detention has been extended by two months. Narek Samsonyan had declared a hunger strike.
