Road Conditions in Armenia as of 19:35

As of January 9 at 19:35, the Spitak turns are closed to articulated vehicles, while other vehicles are permitted. This information has been provided by the Road Department.

The roads in the regions of Ashotq, Amasia, and the Vardenyats Pass are difficult for articulated transport vehicles. Snowfall is occurring in the regions of Ararat, Yeghegnadzor, Vayk, Sisian, Baghramyan, Talin, Artik, Ashotq, Ashtarak, Aparan, Aragats, Spitak, Vanadzor, Stepanavan, Nairi, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Sevan, Dilijan, Gavar, Martuni, and Chambarak.

There are spots of black ice on the highways in the regions of Aparan, Aragats, Sevan, Chambarak, Martuni, Gavar, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Nairi, Goris, Ashotq, and Amasia. All interstate and national highways are open. Road construction teams are conducting cleaning and salt-sand treatment on the roads. Drivers are urged to be attentive, strictly adhere to traffic regulations, and use winter tires exclusively.
