Please Be Alert and Do Not Fall for Scams: Pashinyan Addresses Citizen's Letter
In connection with a letter received from a citizen, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has made a statement regarding fraudulent activities.
“This individual has reported that between June 7 and June 9, 2025, he was approached by subscribers 'Alisa' and 'Arammita' via the Telegram app who offered him an online money-making scheme. This required him to invest funds in order to receive profit in return. The subscriber 'Alisa' suggested transferring 2,000 AMD to Tatvik using the card number 0000 0000 0000 0000, claiming that this amount would yield a return of 3,000 AMD to his card. Subsequently, he transferred 26,000 AMD to the same account and received 37,000 AMD back. Eventually, he transferred a total of 2,419,724 AMD to this account, after which the individual refused to return his funds, arguing that the money had been cashed incorrectly,” Pashinyan elaborated.
“Dear citizens, I urge you to stay vigilant and not fall for scams,” the Prime Minister concluded.
