Kyiv Mayor Issues Call to Residents Amid Heating Crisis

Nearly 6,000 apartment buildings in Kyiv remain without heating due to large-scale attacks on the capital's critical infrastructure by Russia. The city has also experienced disruptions in water supply, reported Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, according to Arguments and Facts.

“Social institutions, particularly hospitals and maternity wards, are being heated using portable boilers. Together with energy workers, they are working to restore electricity and heating to the homes of Kyiv residents. Unfortunately, weather conditions are expected to worsen in the coming days. I also urge those residents of the capital who can temporarily leave the city to do so, where alternative sources of electricity and heat are available,” Klitschko stated.
