UK Government to Put Troop Deployment to Ukraine to Parliamentary Vote
The UK government will present the question of sending troops to Ukraine to parliamentary voting following the ceasefire. This was announced by Prime Minister Keir Starmer in the House of Commons, according to TASS.
“Along with Presidents Macron and Zelensky, we have agreed on a declaration of intent to deploy troops in case a peace agreement is reached. We will announce the details as soon as possible in a separate statement. I will keep you informed of developments, considering that the situation is evolving. If the troops are deployed according to the signed declaration, I will put the question to a vote in the House of Commons,” said Starmer.
