Land Issue Remains Unresolved: Whitcoff

We believe that we have largely completed the security agreements that are crucial for the Ukrainian people to know that when the war ends, it will end forever. This was stated by the U.S. presidential envoy, Steve Whitcoff.

“But we also believe that we are very, very close to the final signing of a prosperity agreement, which will be the strongest ever negotiated by countries emerging from such conflicts, and which we hope will open enormous opportunities for the Ukrainian people. And we believe that a strong economy is linked to and directly operates with these security agreements,” Whitcoff added.

He noted that the issue of land remains unresolved. “We hope that we can reach certain compromises on this matter, but I want to say the following: we are here to mediate and assist the peace process, and we are ready to do whatever is necessary to achieve this goal,” emphasized Whitcoff.
