Manchester United Coach Released from Position
The English Premier League club Manchester United has announced the release of Ruben Amorim from his position as head coach of the first team. Amorim began his tenure at Manchester United in November 2024. Prior to that, he managed Lisbon's Sporting, where he led the club to victory in the Portuguese league.
Currently, the Red Devils are in fifth place on the Premier League standings, having garnered 31 points from 20 matches. They are trailing leaders Arsenal by 17 points.
Earlier reports indicated that Darren Fletcher has temporarily taken over as head coach of the first team following Amorim's departure.
