Violations Found in Several Dairy Products Imported from EAEU and Third Countries
The inspectors from the Food Safety Inspection Body of the Republic of Armenia conducted joint control purchases of various dairy products from the EAEU and third countries available in the Armenian market, which were subjected to microbiological research. This included determining the mass fraction of milk fat in these products. This information was provided by the Food Safety Inspection Body of the Republic of Armenia.
According to the findings, several products were tested from the "Kaizer" supermarket (Par-Art LLC) located at 23/6 Margaryan Street:
- Brest Litovsk brand sour cream, fat mass fraction: 15% (Producer: Belarus, Sovushkin Product, Importer: LD LLC, Manufactured: 04.11.2025, Expiry date: 04.12.2025)
- Fruttis brand yogurt pasteurized product (with peach), fat mass fraction: 5% (Producer: Russia, Erman Stupino, Importer: Dержава LLC, Manufactured: 25.09.2025, Expiry date: 24.03.2025)
- Nezhny brand yogurt pasteurized product (with strawberry juice), fat mass fraction: 1.2% (Producer: Russia, Erman Stupino, Importer: Dержава LLC, Manufactured: 28.09.2025, Expiry date: 25.02.2026)
- Cheese Life brand protein-fat product "Mozzarella", total fat content in dry products: 45.0% (Producer: Ukraine, Andrushivskyi Maslosyrzavod, Importer: LIA-K Group LLC, Manufactured: 16.10.2025, Expiry date: 10 days)
- DANONE brand yogurt product with strawberry flavor, fat mass fraction: 1.2% (Producer: Kazakhstan, Danone Berkut, Importer: Dержава LLC, Manufactured: 01.11.2025, Expiry date: 26.12.2025)
- Aгуша brand children’s fruit curds with pear flavor, fat mass fraction: 3.9% (Producer: Russia, VBD LLC, Importer: Adamium LLC, Manufactured: 10.11.2025, Expiry date: 07.12.2025)
- President brand sour cream made from sourdough and cream, fat mass fraction: 20% (Producer: Russia, Efremovsky Maslosyrodelny Kombinat, Importer: Lactalis Arma LLC, Manufactured: 26.10.2025, Expiry date: 05.12.2025)

According to laboratory test results, the sour cream from Brest Litovsk, yogurt products from Fruttis and Nezhny, and the protein-fat product from Cheese Life did not meet the requirements set by the technical regulations of the Customs Union.
Control purchases were also made from the "Yerevan City" supermarket located at 5 Mashtots Avenue (City LLC):

- Anchor brand non-salted, sweet cream butter (Producer: New Zealand, Importer: Fonterra Limited LLC, Manufactured: 08.07.2025, Expiry date: 08.11.2025)
- Doyarushka brand unsalted cream butter, 73.2% (Importer: Alex and Holding LLC, Producer: New Zealand, Manufactured: 08.11.2025)
According to laboratory reports, the sample of the Golandez product from Vershkoviy Ray did not meet the requirements set by the technical regulations of the Customs Union regarding the mass fraction of milk fat and the indicators for enterobacteriaceae group bacteria.
The studies were conducted at the “Republican Veterinary Sanitary and Phytosanitary Laboratory Services Center” under the Ministry of Health. As per the principle of traceability, the discrepancies noted in the products are currently being monitored by importing companies LIA-K Group and Mega Food LLC.
