Roads Leading to Amberd Fortress and Kari Lake Closed

The Emergency Situations Service informs that the roads in the territory of Armenia are mainly passable.

However, the roads leading from the "Amberd" high-mountain meteorological station to Amberd Fortress and Kari Lake are closed. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia's North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
