Roads to Amberd Fortress and Kari Lake Closed

The Rescue Service informs that the roads in the territory of Armenia are mostly passable. However, the roads leading from the 'Amberd' high mountain weather station to Amberd Fortress and Kari Lake are closed. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.

Regarding the Lars situation, according to information received from the Emergency Management Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, the Stepanavan-Mind–Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
