China Opposes US Pressure on Chinese Companies

China opposes the creation of discriminatory lists by the United States and the undue pressure on Chinese companies, said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Zexuan during a press briefing today.

Earlier, American media reported that the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has decided to ban the import of new foreign-manufactured drones due to security risks, which would hinder Chinese companies DJI and Autel from supplying new models of drones to the US market.

“China is firmly opposed to the US's generalized notion of national security, the creation of discriminatory lists, and the unreasonable pressure exerted on Chinese companies,” Lin Zexuan stated.
