Pashinyan Thanks Putin for Supporting Peace Process Between Yerevan and Baku
During a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expressed gratitude to the Russian leader for his support of the peace process between Yerevan and Baku.
“Of course, important and, fortunately, positive developments are occurring in our region. I would like to thank you for your support of the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan,” said Pashinyan.
Earlier, Putin stated that relations between Moscow and Yerevan are developing, and trade turnover has improved.
It is to be recalled that on August 8, following a meeting in Washington with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and U.S. President Donald Trump, a declaration was adopted regarding the pre-signing of the agreed text of a peace agreement and the establishment of interstate relations between the two countries. The Armenian side also agreed to cooperate with the United States and third parties to create the “Trump Roadmap for International Peace and Prosperity.”
