Former High-Ranking Official of the State Revenue Committee Arrested for Abuse of Official Power

Vahktang Mirumyan, the former deputy chairman of the State Revenue Committee (SRC), has been arrested. This was reported by ArmLur.

The arrest was carried out by the Anti-Corruption Committee. In a statement to Auroranews, the Anti-Corruption Committee said: “In response, we inform that a former high-ranking official of the SRC has been arrested on charges of abuse of official powers within the framework of a criminal case being investigated by the Anti-Corruption Committee. We cannot provide further details at this time due to the interests of the pre-investigation.”
