Students to Participate in Community Development Decisions for the First Time

The first session of the student council established under the Municipality of Yerevan was held, as reported by the Mayor of Yerevan, Tigran Avinyan.

“The existence of this body ensuring student representation is precedent-setting, as for the first time, students from Yerevan schools will directly participate in the decision-making process regarding community development. Together with the children, we will develop initiatives and programs that will respond to the needs of their peers, making Yerevan a more comfortable, interesting, and modern city for children and youth,” the mayor wrote.
