Russia's Last Consulate in Poland Closes

Russia's last consulate in Poland has closed. This was reported by a correspondent from RIA Novosti. The consulate in Gdańsk has shut its doors.

As a result, consular services for Russians and foreign citizens in Poland are now available only at the consular section of the embassy in Warsaw.

In mid-November, Poland's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the decision to revoke the operating permit for the Russian consular office in Gdańsk. The decision was made by the Mazowieckie Voivodeship police following reports of damage to the railway leading to Ukraine.
