Russia Still Has Serious Questions for the USA – Ryabkov

Russia still has serious questions for the USA regarding Ukraine; however, the Trump administration has taken several steps in the right direction. This was stated by Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov.

He added that the Pentagon's goal is to achieve decisive military superiority over all adversaries, which is concerning. According to Ryabkov, the EU has a clear intention to prevent rapprochement between Russia and the USA on the issue of resolving the Ukraine situation.

“Broad rearmament programs in Europe have been launched under the pretext of an alleged threat from Russia, and the EU is gripped by the delusion of supposedly preparing for a ‘Russian attack.’ Even taking into account the current US policy, the risk of confrontation between Russia and NATO persists due to the actions of the EU,” noted the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister.
