Georgi Papoyan Proposes Considering the Establishment of a Tumo Center in Egypt
The Minister of Economy of Armenia, Georgi Papoyan, met with the Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Hassan Al-Khatib, during his visit to Egypt.
The Ministry of Economy reports that the parties discussed the possibilities for expanding bilateral trade and economic relations, as well as investment cooperation. Emphasizing the importance of investments in the education sector, Georgi Papoyan proposed considering the establishment of a Tumo Center in Egypt.
To enhance mutual recognition between the two countries, both sides emphasized organizing B2B format meetings between business circles. Ideas were also exchanged regarding cooperation in the pharmaceutical production and tourism sectors.
Georgi Papoyan also addressed the 'Peaceful Crossroads' initiative, highlighting the program's importance for regional economic cooperation and inviting Hassan Al-Khatib to participate in the 'Peaceful Crossroads' investment summit planned for 2026.
