Attempts Made to Involve Georgia in Armed Conflict, Kobakhidze Says
“Our peace today is not a coincidence but the result of a conscious and consistent policy,” said Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze during his speech at a conference of ambassadors.
As the head of government noted, there have been significant attempts by external forces to draw Georgia back into armed conflict.
“We were able to, through our principled stance, protect national interests and maintain the stability and peace of the country. I especially want to emphasize that our peace today is not an accident, but the result of conscious and consistent policy,” Kobakhidze stated.
