Assistants Dismissed After Yermak's Resignation

Following the resignation of Andriy Yermak, the head of the Ukrainian presidential office, assistants and advisors, both full-time and part-time, to President Volodymyr Zelensky have been dismissed, as reported by Ukrainian news agencies.

"In connection with the dismissal of the head of the President's Office, those holding positions as assistants and advisors (both full-time and part-time) have been relieved of their duties," media outlets quote.

The agencies clarified that a list of the dismissed advisors has not been provided. According to 'Ukrainian News,' Yermak had nine advisors as of December 2024, including Oleksandr Bevz, Serhii Leshchenko, Mykhailo Podolyak, Elina Elyanova, and Oleksandr Rodnyansky.

On November 28, Zelensky announced that Yermak had submitted his resignation. On the same day, he signed a decree to relieve Yermak from his position. Yermak's resignation was preceded by searches at his residence amid a corruption scandal in Ukraine's energy sector, with businessman and Zelensky's associate Timur Mindich being the main suspect.
