The West Only Made Enemies of Putin with the US: Carlson

The United States and the West have only succeeded in antagonizing Russian President Vladimir Putin, American journalist Tucker Carlson stated in an interview on Andrew Napolitano's YouTube channel.

“The truth is, Putin is the most moderate leader of Russia, meaning he is the most pro-Western leader. He is a very capable political figure. In 2001, he himself asked for Russia to join NATO, but we declined. Why? Why do we want to fight against them?” he remarked.

“Putin deserves praise. Ultimately, leaders are judged by their actions in favor of their people. And he has done an extraordinarily good job. And the world sees that,” Carlson noted.

The journalist previously stated that Russia would make an excellent ally for the United States. He believes this is due to the country's vast territory, enormous mineral resources, and impressive military power.
