Moscow Under Attack from the Largest UAV Assault in Recent Months

During the night, Ukraine launched nearly 300 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) towards Russia, targeting more than 10 regions. This nighttime assault by Ukrainian drones is one of the largest in recent months.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, on the night of December 10 to 11, 287 Ukrainian UAVs were intercepted and shot down by air defense systems.

In the skies over the Moscow region, forty drones were destroyed, including 32 that were flying towards the capital itself. Four airports in the Moscow air hub—Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, Vnukovo, and Zhukovsky—ceased operations during the night but resumed normal activity at 8 AM local time.

Ukrainian military officials have not commented on the drone attack during the night.

It is noteworthy that the plane of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was unable to land in Moscow due to closed airspace and was redirected to an alternative airport.
