Russian Ministry of Defense Issues Statement

The Ministry of Defense has reported that air defense forces destroyed 67 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Ukrainian armed forces over Russian territories during the night.

"Last night, air defense alert systems destroyed 67 Ukrainian fixed-wing UAVs," the statement reads.

The fighters eliminated 24 UAVs in Bryansk region, 12 in Saratov region, and 11 in Rostov region. They also destroyed nine aircraft in Volgograd region, two each in Kursk, Leningrad, and Tula regions, as well as over Moscow region, and one each in Kaluga, Oryol, and Smolensk regions.

In response to attacks by the Ukrainian armed forces, Russian forces are targeting exclusively military facilities and Ukraine's defense industry enterprises, utilizing precision-guided aerial, naval, and ground weapons, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles.
