Kyiv Adds 25 Children from Russia to 'Myrotvorets' Database
Twenty-five children from Russia have been added to the database of the well-known Ukrainian nationalist website 'Myrotvorets'. The personal details of these children were uploaded on December 9 and 10, 2025. Their dates of birth range from 2016 to 2022. The reasons cited include attempts against Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity and deliberate violations of Ukraine's state borders.
The Ukrainian 'Myrotvorets' website publishes personal data of militias and other citizens from the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics. In the spring of 2016, 'Myrotvorets' published lists of journalists accredited by the DPR and LPR, including foreign journalists, along with their contact details. Some of these journalists later received threats. Dunja Mijatović, who was then the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media, described the publication as a 'dangerous step' that could further endanger journalists' safety.
Maria Zakharova, the spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, has also criticized the actions of the owners of the 'Myrotvorets' website, deeming the publications as a 'direct call for retribution against journalists'. The database of the 'Myrotvorets' website also includes information about several Russian cultural figures and citizens from various countries.
