Snow Falls in Various Parts of Armenia: Road Conditions

The Rescue Service reports that the roads in the territory of Armenia are mostly passable. Due to the ongoing reconstruction works on the Korevan road and considering the risk of rockfalls, the road has been temporarily closed to traffic since August 19.

Snow is falling in the city of Artik, the Vardenyats Pass, and the area known as 'Meghri Mountain.' Fog has settled in the city of Sevan.

Drivers are urged to travel exclusively with winter tires.

Regarding the Lars situation, according to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the North Ossetian Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
