Average Air Quality Index Values in November Were Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups
During the operational meeting of the Yerevan Mayor's Office on December 8, data obtained from air measurement devices for November 2025 were presented. According to the information, the average air quality index values for PM 2.5 and PM 10 monitored at 184 air monitoring stations installed at construction sites in Yerevan were 142 and 64, respectively. These values fall within the unhealthy range for moderate or sensitive groups.
In comparison to the same period in 2024, PM 2.5 was recorded at 101, while PM 10 was at 53. During the period from November 20 to 30, 2025, the average AQI (Air Quality Index) value for PM 2.5 reached 180, indicating a sharp deterioration in air quality.
It was also reported that the analysis of data received from the stations at the end of last week shows a relative decrease in sensor readings.
