Active Cyclone Penetrates: Intense Snow and Mixed Rain Expected Across Armenia

Due to the penetration of an active cyclone from the southwest, precipitation is expected across the entire territory of the Republic on the afternoon of December 7 and during the night of December 8. This was reported by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.

In Shirak, Lori, mountainous regions of Aragatsotn, Kotayk, Vayots Dzor, and Syunik, as well as pre-mountainous areas of Syunik, the precipitation will occur in the form of snow and mixed rain, at times intensively.

In the Ararat Valley, in the pre-mountainous areas of Aragatsotn, Kotayk, and Vayots Dzor, as well as in the valley zones of Tavush and Syunik, including Yerevan, rain is expected.
