Reconstruction of Railway Infrastructure Begins in Nakhchivan, Says Rustamov

The Azerbaijani Railways company has started the reconstruction of railway infrastructure in Nakhchivan. This was announced by the chairman of the joint-stock company, Rovshan Rustamov, as reported by Report.

According to him, the total length of the railroads included in the Zangezur Corridor’s Nakhchivan section is 188 kilometers. "The design work for this route has been completed; however, the completion date for the new railways has not yet been determined, as the project involves many components," he stated.

Earlier, we reported that Azerbaijan has once again demanded the resettlement of 300,000 Azerbaijanis in Armenia. This was mentioned at a conference held in Baku on the topic "Cultural Heritage and the Right to Return: Restoration of the Cultural Heritage of Azerbaijanis Expelled from Armenia as a Path to Justice, Reconciliation, and Peace."
