Macron Escapes Chinese Security Forces to Speak with Students

During a state visit to China, French President Emmanuel Macron escaped from Chinese security personnel to speak with a crowd of students in Sichuan Province. This was reported by BFMTV.

Footage broadcast by the channel shows the French leader running towards a group of people standing in the distance while being pursued by Chinese security staff. “The President decided to run to reach the crowd,” BFMTV reported.

The incident occurred today, on the last day of Macron's visit to China. Additionally, a recent poll conducted by Verian for Le Figaro revealed that Macron's approval rating in France has dropped to 11% in October, marking the lowest level of his presidency.
