Use of Smartphones Banned in 143 Out of 151 Community Schools in Yerevan

As part of an initiative by the Mayor of Yerevan, the use of smartphones and other electronic devices has been banned in 143 out of 151 community schools in the city.

"The ban has been enshrined in the internal disciplinary regulations of educational institutions. The use of smart devices is only permitted for educational purposes, under the teacher's instruction, and for utilizing QR codes in textbooks," reported the Yerevan Municipality.
