The Anticipated Scenario Has Been Realized: Avinyan on the Restriction of Mobile Phones in Schools

The restriction of mobile phones in schools is expected to have a positively significant impact on the educational process. It may be beneficial to conduct a study in the future to compare this with previous conditions. This was stated today during a meeting of the operational advisory board of the Yerevan Municipality by Mayor Tigran Avinyan.

The Department of General Education was instructed by Tigran Avinyan to prohibit the use of mobile phones during class hours in Yerevan's public schools. According to an employee of the Department of General Education, the corresponding regulation has been adopted by the management councils of all schools: “Last week, during random visits to six schools, it became clear that the anticipated scenario has been realized.”
