Azerbaijani Premium Gasoline to Be Sold in Armenia for 440 Drams

Azerbaijani gasoline will be sold starting tomorrow at "Run Oil" gas stations. The director of the company "Mega Trade," Karen Hayriyan, informed "Azatutyun" that the АИ 95 premium grade gasoline will be sold for 440 drams.

"This is significantly cheaper; the current market price for premium gasoline is 520 drams," said Hayriyan.

"Mega Trade" is part of "Sil Capital," which is owned by the family of ruling lawmaker Khachatur Sukiasyan. The company has purchased approximately 600 tons of premium grade Azerbaijani gasoline. Moreover, "Mega Trade" did not import the gasoline directly from Azerbaijan but bought it from a wholesale fuel trading company, whose name has not been disclosed.

Hayriyan also told "Azatutyun" that there are free market relations, and if a competitive price is offered, they are also ready to purchase regular grade gasoline.

Earlier, it was reported that a train loaded with Azerbaijani gasoline had arrived at Armenia's "Ayrium" station.
