Ushakov Comments on Zelensky's Statements Regarding the Situation on the Front

Commenting on the contradictory statements made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky regarding the situation on the front, Yuri Ushakov, assistant to the President of Russia, stated that reason will prevail and that this is supported by the real successes of Russian troops.

Yesterday evening, Russian President Vladimir Putin hosted U.S. presidential envoy Steve Biegun and son-in-law of the American leader, Jared Kushner, founder of Affinity Partners, at the Kremlin. The visit of the U.S. representatives to Russia was related to discussions on the U.S. peace plan for Ukraine.

Commenting on the results of the meeting, Ushakov noted today that the military feats of Russian soldiers have contributed to a more realistic assessment of a peace settlement in Ukraine by foreign countries. The President's assistant also expressed hope that Europeans and Ukrainians would demonstrate a more appropriate attitude and understanding of the situation.

“Considering Volodymyr Zelensky's contradictory statements that they are allegedly fighting us in certain areas that have long been liberated by Russian troops, I believe that reason will prevail now, and this is supported by the real successes of our troops,” Ushakov said.
