Average Winter Seasonal Temperature in Armenia is -4.8°C: Levon Azizyan

Levon Azizyan, director of the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center, wrote on his social media page: “Goodbye Autumn, welcome Winter. Tomorrow marks the first day of the calendar winter. The average winter seasonal temperature in Armenia for the period 1991-2020 is -4.8°C. The average amount of precipitation in Armenia is 107mm. The climatic characteristics of winter in Armenia, according to observations from 1935-2024, are presented below by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.”
