Attacks Occur in Sotk Area, Community Leader Provides Details

Units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces have launched an attack in the Sotk area. This information was reported in a conversation with Sputnik Armenia by Hakob Avetyan, the head of the Geghamasar enlarged community, who provided details regarding today's incident.

The Ministry of Defense reported that today, around 12:00, units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces attacked Armenian combat positions located along the eastern direction of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border.

“In the Sotk border area, gunfire is heard, and the shooting continues until now. However, our boys are managing to push the enemy back,” Avetyan stated.

According to him, every day the enemy tries to advance in some area, but to the credit of our soldiers, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces have not succeeded in achieving their objectives.

When asked whether the Armenian side has suffered any losses due to the gunfire, Avetyan replied that this question is still being clarified.
