New Historical Record Registered in Armenia: Pashinyan
The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, has presented socio-economic indicators, emphasizing that a new historical record for employment with salaries has been established in October.
“We have 810,074 jobs, which is more than 5,000 more than the previous month,” he said. According to the Prime Minister, “compared to October 2018, the number of jobs has increased by 223,895. The wage fund has increased by 149 billion drams, and the average salary in October amounted to 313,000, up by 135,000 drams.”
He also addressed the economic activity indicator: “In October, we recorded a 10.1% increase in economic activity compared to the same month last year, and in the first ten months of 2025, compared to the January-October of the previous year, we achieved an 8.1% increase in the economic activity index.”
According to the Prime Minister, there has been a recorded economic growth of 6% in the past nine months.
