National Assembly Cancels Referendum with 80 Votes in Favor, 1 Against

The National Assembly has declared the decision to put the constitutional amendment bill to a referendum invalid, with 80 votes in favor and only 1 against, constituting a 3/5 majority of the members.
The only dissenting vote came from independent MP Arman Babajanyan, while no members from the opposition factions of "Bright Armenia" and "Prosperous Armenia" were present at the session.
