Andranik Tevanyan to Resign from City Council Membership

In the recent elections for the Yerevan City Council, Andranik Tevanyan, leader of the 'Mother Armenia' bloc, announced his resignation from the council member position. 'I am giving up my mandate in the Yerevan City Council. Manuk Sukiasyan will lead the faction, and our 12 members will justify the votes given by the citizens of Yerevan through their activism. We expect that even those citizens who did not vote for us or did not participate in the elections will see their defenders in the 'Mother Armenia' faction,' Tevanyan stated during a press briefing with journalists.
