The West is Trying to Separate Armenia from Russia: Zakharova

The West is now trying to pull Armenia away from Russia after the situation in Ukraine did not succeed. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

“Armenia and Russia are sovereign states, and all the agreements between them have been made voluntarily and yield the results that are now being attempted to be taken away from Yerevan.

Armenia is not the one showing a desire to change its course; it is being imposed upon it through political tools and through people who protect interests alien to the Armenian people. Partners are asking to maintain what they have, while they are trying to take steps in the area of security. The attempt to sit on two chairs has never benefited anyone,” said Zakharova.
