Stabbing and Gunshots in Vanadzor: Charges Laid Against Two Individuals

During the investigation of a criminal case by the Lori Regional Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee, factual evidence has been obtained regarding an incident that occurred on August 9, 2025, in the city of Vanadzor. During a dispute between the parties, M.K. inflicted injuries on K.B.'s chest and neck with a sharp object, causing serious harm to his health. Following this, N.B. fired gunshots in the direction of M.K. and E.B. using firearms that were illegally obtained.

N.B. has been charged with public criminal prosecution under the second part of Article 166 (causing serious harm to health) and the second part of Article 167 (causing medium harm to health) of the Criminal Code, as well as under the first part of Article 335 (illegal circulation of weapons and ammunition) and M.K. under the first part of Article 44-155 (attempted murder).

Preventive measures have been applied: one individual has been taken into custody, while the other is under house arrest. The criminal proceedings have been sent to the supervising prosecutor with an indictment.
