The Road to Koryan's Valley Remains Closed: Details

The Rescue Service reports that the roadways in Armenia are generally passable. However, due to ongoing reconstruction work on the Koryan's Valley road and considering the risk of landslides, the road has been temporarily closed to traffic since August 19.

According to information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs' Emergency Management Department and the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations' North Ossetia Crisis Management Center, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
