52 Billion Dollars Withdrawn from Turkey Due to Football Betting Scandal

Approximately 52 billion USD has been withdrawn from Turkey as a result of a scandal involving football betting at bookmaker offices. This was announced by the head of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF).

“Last year, 52 billion dollars was withdrawn from Turkey. Look at the betting and gambling. People do not gamble in Turkey; the money flows out. We are not the center of gambling in Europe or the world. The more we resist this, the more we will serve the Turkish people,” he stated.
