Video: Explosion at Surmalu Shopping Center from Above

The Ministry of Emergency Situations has reported that an explosion occurred at the Surmalu shopping center. A "Level 3" alarm for fire complexity has been declared. About 30 fire units are currently working at the scene.

According to preliminary reports, the explosion has led to a fire outbreak; there is one confirmed fatality. The Ministry of Health informs that 26 injured individuals are receiving medical assistance.

The ministry has also stated that ten minors were transferred to a medical facility as a result of the Surmalu explosion. Online, footage has emerged showing the explosion captured from above.
