The Chairman of the Investigative Committee Signs a Decree: New Head of the Armavir Regional Investigative Department

The Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee, Arthur Poghosyan, has signed a decree appointing Sevak Khachatury Khachatryan as the head of the Armavir Regional Investigative Department.

The decree was signed on November 12, 2025, based on the conclusion of the qualification commission of the RA Investigative Committee dated November 5, 2025, and in accordance with Article 12, Part 2, Clause 3 and Article 20, Part 7 of the Law on the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia.

By this decree, Sevak Khachatryan, a second-class justice advisor, has been appointed as the head of the RA Investigative Committee's Armavir Regional Investigative Department, having been relieved of his duties as Deputy Head of the Human Crimes Investigation Department of the Main Investigation Directorate for Especially Important Cases.

As per the decree, Sevak Khachatryan has been removed from the promotion list of persons holding independent positions within the RA Investigative Committee. His salary has been established in accordance with the RA Law on the Remuneration of Persons Holding State Positions and State Service Positions.
