Tragic Incident in Ararat Province: Car Collides with Train, One Fatality

On November 21, at 06:14, a call was received by the crisis management center of the Ararat regional rescue service, reporting that a car had collided with a train at the intersection of Sis village.

A firefighting and rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that an 'Opel' car had collided with a train transporting goods from Gyumri to Yerevan at the end of the Sis settlement.

Before the rescue team arrived, local authorities managed to extract the driver from the vehicle; however, paramedics confirmed the driver’s death. The rescuers then deactivated the vehicle and closed the valve of the gas cylinder.
