Tigran Avinyan Discusses Changes in City Traffic

The Mayor of Yerevan, Tigran Avinyan, has addressed the changes in traffic flow on Saryan Street and other streets in the capital.

“The change in traffic on Saryan was made based on analysis. When these analyses were conducted, the proposal came specifically from our partners in Île-de-France. All the changes that you are criticizing and constantly mentioning—international experts—were proposed based on the analysis of international experts. What is your issue now?” he stated.

“The constant traffic on Saryan is indeed ensured. Yes, it is ensured. Traffic on the third line is a bit slower, but that’s fine; let it be a little slower on the third line. However, traffic on Saryan is always ensured,” he added.
