Former MP from BHK Arrested for Intentional Harm
The former MP from the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), Janibek Hayrapetyan, has been arrested. He is suspected of intentionally causing severe harm to another person’s health. This information was reported by Vardan Tadevosyan, the press secretary of the Investigative Committee.
The investigative body has submitted a request to the court to detain Hayrapetyan. Tadevosyan states that the former MP has been arrested for intentionally inflicting injuries on another person and/or causing other severe harm to health under the first part of Article 112 of the Criminal Code.
Hayrapetyan served as a parliament member from 2019 to 2021.
